EVENT-SPARK CASE STUDY
Minnesota Museum of American Art "First Night" Grand Opening
Our guidance. Your team. The perfect combination. EVENT-SPARK.
We have de-bundled our services so clients can buy just the right amount of creative "wow" and award-winning expertise to help them achieve their goals.
Case Study
The Minnesota Museum of American Art leadership wanted a grand opening event that would celebrate its 100th year, showcase its new home and offer its supporters a swanky sneak peek of the new "M". And they wanted to raise funds in the process. They had a smart and creative staff, but were all incredibly busy just trying to open the new museum.
So, they turned to Mason Creative for a curated set of EVENT-SPARK services to help them develop a creative and strategic plan they could follow to achieve their goals.
Our team was hired for the following services:
-
Event name and theme - "First Night"
-
Brainstorming session
-
Complete strategic & creative event plan
-
Event budget
-
Floor plan
-
Design and decor concepts
-
Food and beverage ideas
-
Fundraising plan
-
Entertainment and interactive activities
-
Planning timeline and day-of-event showflow
-
Vendor recommendations
-
Parting gift resourcing
-
Ongoing support - just one call away
We worked hand-in-hand with the client to set them up for a complete event success. Once they had all the planning in place, they were able to manage the execution in-house. The event was highly successful, reached all their goals and was a complete sell-out.
The Client's Response
“ We worked with Char to produce the grand opening First Night gala for our museum. The event was a hit. Char comes to the table extremely organized, full of creative ideas on how to make your event special and unique, and the skills and knowledge to pull it all off. I very much enjoyed working with her and highly recommend her for your event.”
